Use the custodian that matches the Champaign County record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal-history responses: contact Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Champaign County Sheriff's office or arresting agency
- Personal record review: use ISP's fingerprint-based Access and Review process
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement and record sealing: file with the court that heard the case

Court files and certified copies come from the Champaign County Circuit Clerk, 101 E. Main St., Urbana, IL 61801, 217-384-3725, cccircuitclerk@champaigncountyil.gov. The clerk is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
